  Very inspiring place but requires maintenance - some educational displays not working or incomplete, some fish seemed to be in rather poor conditions (eyes missing, fins damaged - maybe it's natural but it looks sad). And as a foreigner who speaks no French I felt a bit neglected - the presentations were given only in French. A visit recommended for kids and adults alike. I paid a full adult ticket but feel like I got only 60% of the potential value also because there were no outdoor shows despite there is nice big arena near the seal pool (because of the low season?) but nobody told us when we arrived.

  Friendly attentive staff make this little gem even better. Plan 3 to 4 hours to see everything including the shows, which include seals, walruses and polar bears. Great jellyfish exhibition too. The grounds are very well kept and we're the icing on the cake.

  We drove from Niagara Falls to visit this aquarium, and the experience was less than satisfactory. First we had to argue that my son was under the age of two as they did not believe us. I had a grandparent email a copy of a birth certificate as proof which took 20 minutes. When we got inside we found most of the vendors where closed. The polar bear exhibit along with the other outside exhibits had not been clean. The. Glass partitions where not cleaned and we had a hard time seeing anything. The arctic fox exhibit looked full of dead animals as it was mid may and the temperature outside was 20 degrees Celsius so the animals where hiding and not active. On top of it all the staff seemed a bit rude to people who did not speak French, I found this to be common as other English speaking guests where treated the same. I do not recommend this venue.

  Petting and feeding the sting ray's was the highlight of the trip. Great variety of aquatic life. The sand sculptures around the grounds were impressive. I will recommend it to others.
