  Great but pricey!

  This is a near Michelin Star restaurant, in my view!!! We stayed at the Auberge Le Vincent which is down the road and awesome in it's own right and the desk clerk recommended this restaurant to us as a "must". We took his advice and glad we did! The atmosphere is quaint, high(er) end French Bistro with a very friendly and unpretentious staff. The food which we tried from the grilled octopus, truffle creme brulee, braised beef cheeks and sweet potato creme brulee, all had great depth of flavors and excellent textures. I would become a regular if I lived in the neighborhood. If you are Quebec City, avoid the restaurants in and around the Old City and come here but make reservations. Oh and they have a small but very nice bar. "Next time" I will hang there for my meal! :-)
